Fat Cat Sauna @ The Croft

When the Fat Cat Sauna isn’t out and about at events or private hire, it lives on our private Croft, nestled within an acre of private grounds and available for community and exclusive-use bookings.

A booking at The Croft includes access to all our facilities, including the Fat Cat Sauna, wood-fired hot tub (supplement to heat), cold shower, plunge pool, teepee, campfire area, picnic area, teahouse, private parking and a composting toilet.

Event Hire FAQ

What is included in an event hire?

Standard sauna rental includes the following:

• Sauna hire for your exclusive private use with seating for up to 6 people
• Steps and two tables
• Free delivery and siting of the sauna within 10 miles of EH52 (please contact us to discuss delivery costs further afield!)
• Kindling and one bag of seasoned logs per day rental
• Initial setup and training on how to use the sauna
• 6x natural fibre sauna hats
• Sauna bucket and ladle

What do I need to hire the sauna?

• An appropriate place to site the sauna (a level surface with good access for a van)
• Permission from the landowner (if that’s not yourself) to site the sauna

Where can I site the sauna?

To site the sauna for an event hire, you must have the landowner’s permission.

Suitable locations for event hires may include garden spaces, loch sides, holiday rentals, and campsites.
